The Egyptian National Competitiveness Council is holding the "Supporting an Enabling Environment for Business: Towards Further Reforms in the Labor Market" conference in cooperation with the United States Agency for International Development through the Workforce Development and Skills Enhancement Project. On Tuesday, July 9th, at the Fairmont Nile City Hotel, it will be inaugurated by Dr. Sahar Nasr, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation. The Minister of Investment is scheduled to deliver a speech before the conference on investment policies and decent work opportunities. Meanwhile, the Minister of Manpower, Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Saafan, concluded the conference with a speech on the importance of the new labor law in improving the efficiency of the Egyptian labor market. During the opening session, the Director of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Egypt Sherry Karlin will talk about the importance of women's participation in the labor market, along with Dr. Muhammad Mujahid, Deputy Minister of Education for Technical Education Affairs, where he presents the features of the technical education reform project in light of the Egypt 2030 strategy.
