About the Conference: Blended Finance: Opportunities for Inclusive Development in Egypt and the MENA Region

The Egyptian National Competitiveness Council (ENCC) and Creative Associates International (Creative) are organizing a conference titled "Blended Finance: Opportunities for Inclusive Development in Egypt and the MENA Region."

This one-day conference will take place at the Conrad Hotel in Cairo on May 9, 2023, from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. The conference aims to bring together stakeholders from various sectors to explore the potential of blended finance in promoting inclusive development across Egypt and the MENA region.

Purpose and Vision of the Conference:

The conference is designed to address the pressing need for innovative financing mechanisms that can drive inclusive development in Egypt and the MENA region. By leveraging both public and private resources, blended finance can help address the challenges of economic growth, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability. The conference will explore the potential of blended finance in areas such as green economy, digital solutions, localization, and private sector engagement (PSE) and will discuss best practices and evidence-based models from the USAID-funded West Africa Trade and Investment Hub.
